I.V. Systems Tracks,
Carriers, & Bottle Holders

Recognizing the fact that I.V. requirements vary from hospital to hospital, the Hospitel I.V. system was designed with flexibility in mind. Bottle holders can be adjusted vertically and locked with one hand in the precise position required from 24 inches to 40 inches, and can be traversed horizontally and locked in any position along entire length of track. Bottle holders are available with standard extensions to accommodate ceilings up to 10'-6" high. Longer extensions for higher ceilings are available if specified.

Tracks are available in configurations to accommodate hospital requirements. Shown below are configurations most often used. Other configurations available on request.

Double straight I.V. track system recommended for patient rooms.

U-shaped I.V. track system recommended for intensive care units.

Oval shaped I.V. track system recommended for operating rooms.

#8000 I.V. Bottle Holder shall hold 8 bottles and can be constructed of 1/4" stainless steel hanger rods with hooks, four on top and four on the bottom, staggered to permit full loading without possible bottle or tube breakage. Carriage is to be constructed of stainless steel and anodized aluminum. Bottle holder to be insulated from carrier with a nylon bushing providing double insulation from the track. Bottle holder shall be fully adjustable from 24" to 40" and free from all dirt collecting holes and notches.

Designed to support I.V. bottle. Hook is formed from 1/4" stainless steel rod.

For ceilings over 8'-6", the stainless steel shaft is extended to lengthen the holder. For ceiling height under 8'-6", the entire unit is shortened. See chart for proper holder heights.

#5000 - I.V. Bottle Holder shall hold five bottles and be constructed of four 1/4" stainless steel hanger rods. An additional bottle hook shall be furnished at the bottom. The handle is to be constructed on stainless steel and anodized aluminum and shall be fully adjustable anywhere along the full height of the stainless steel shaft. The bottle holders to be insulated from carrier with a nylon bushing providing double insulation from the track.

This bottle holder is adjustable the full length of the shaft. The locking feature is identical to other Hospitel models. Only one hand is required to make adjustments. When telescoping features are not required (as with #4000 and #8000) Hospitel #5000 bottle holder provides a convenient alternate.
